Mukhamukhi is an intriguing story of self-revelation of a family trying to defend its role in a poor girl's death. Mukhamukhi was shot entirely in and around Bangalore, India, the burgeoning metropolis known as India's Silicon Valley. The story is set in the current day urban euphoria of development and progress. The film was shot on Super16 and blown up to 35mm. The entire film was shot using sync sound. We are proud to say that Mukhamukhi is the first Kannada feature film to achieve this feat in the last 30 years of the Kannada film industry. It has recently won the award for "BEST DIALOGUE" in the Karnataka State Film Awards, 2006.
